Pet Boarding
Pet boarding accommodates our guests who need more than just daycare. Short term and long term boarding is available (long term boarding is considered any stay over 30 days). For updates, please reach out to us in order for us to send you updates during your pets stay via email only, we do not automatically send updates. We DO NOT allow access to our security cameras. You are required to bring food from home, please only bring the amount needed for your pets stay, we will not take in large bags or bins of dog food. When boarding please label your pets name on any items you bring in. Pets needing boarding will be out during the day for play and kenneled for only the overnight portion of their stay in our state of the art kennels measuring 4' X 6'. At Bentley's Ruff House, we try to make your pet feel like they too are on vacation, which is why we choose to not kennel our guests for the majority of their stay. We strive to make your pets stay very comfortable, and it is not uncommon to find your dog roaming our office or even sitting on a lap lounging on our staff couch with members of our team. Boarding is unlimited free play as long as your pet is friendly. They will have their own "room" to go to bed in. We can offer special accommodations upon request for pets with extra needs pending availability, as we want their stay to be stress free for both your pet and you!
Unlike other boarding kennels, we do not have any hidden fees. No extra money for "cuddle time" or "play time." There's no extra fee for treats or medication. We charge $50 per night. We accept cash or debit/credit as payment. We DO NOT accept checks. *We do not charge a holiday rate, but we do charge for the entire length of the stay, including days that you have picked up early. For holiday bookings we require 7 calendar days prior to drop off date for any changes being made. For example, shortening your pets booking or removing a pet from a booking. Changes made within 7 calendar days will result in the original booking charge in full. New clients will be required to pay a two night non-refundable deposit for holiday bookings, and bookings during summer.
Our drop off and pick up times are between 7:00 - 9:00 am or 3:00 - 5:30 pm Monday and Friday. 7:00 - 9:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday's. There are no pick ups or drop offs on Major Holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, the Day after Christmas, and New Years Day). Due to COVID-19 & Short Staffing our hours may change as it is a fluid situation.
Effective June 1, 2021 we will begin charging a daycare fee ($20) on the day of pick up for boarding. If you pick up on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday during the afternoon pick up time (3:00 - 5:30 PM) then you will be charged a daycare fee ($20) for that day only.
Vaccination Requirements: Rabies, Distemper and Parvo (DHPP), Bordetella (Kennel Cough). At this time we are not requiring the flu vaccination. We recommend sending in a current copy of vaccinations PRIOR to your pets stay. Any pet that does not have current vaccinations at the time of arrival will not be allowed to stay. You can also request your vet email a copy to us. We do NOT accept vaccines given by owner. They must be given by a vet or vet clinic.
Cancellations: Individuals with multiple cancellations, or cancellations and no completed bookings, will be required to pay for a two night NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. For holiday bookings, the payment for the entire stay will be due prior to booking. The payment for a holiday stay and the deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE & non-transferable for individuals with multiple cancellations or individuals who have cancelled and not completed any bookings.
